Inspiration for scenes 2

Scene 2

I based the layout of the environment of Hayle on a actual photograph, which unfortunately i have lost and cannot seem to recover. But this layout will be the basis of a more interesting and colourful design for the final piece, make of of numerous tiny elements that will pop up at different times akin to a children's pop up book.  This was technique that the group was in unanimous agreement about using, and we plan to create a recurring feature within our animation. The first animated scene that really convinced me of the charm and effectiveness of this technique was the BBC2 christmas ident that, used not only a pop up effect but a folding out method that really imitated that of paper.
